Electrical Engineer – HVAC & Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to provide advanced technical support for HVAC, solar PV and battery storage systems. The role involves diagnosing complex faults, reviewing designs for compliance and supporting commissioning activities across our renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for complex air‑conditioning and HVAC issues.
• Diagnose electrical and control‑related faults in split, ducted, VRF/VRV and related equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and manufacturer documentation.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on technical escalations, warranty matters and engineering queries.
• Conduct failure analysis, recommend corrective actions and develop SOPs, troubleshooting guides and knowledge‑base articles.
• Review system designs against Australian Standards, DNSP requirements and other regulatory frameworks.
• Support commissioning, technical validation and compliance reviews for solar PV and battery storage installations.
• Participate in technical audits, compliance investigations and identify non‑compliant installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical issues in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a compliance mindset.
