About the role
The Editorial Production Assistant supports the editorial team by ensuring that each page meets the highest standards of accuracy, design, and layout. Working under the supervision of Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head, you will play a key part in the publishing workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Proofread editorial pages for spelling, grammar, and style consistency.
- Execute design and layout tasks using publishing software.
- Incorporate revisions and updates into pages as directed.
- Collaborate with Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head to meet production deadlines.
Required profile
- College graduate, preferably with a major in Journalism or Mass Communication.
- At least 1 year of experience as a proofreader.
- Minimum 1 year of training or work experience in production within a publishing firm.
