Director, Workforce Planning and Optimization

About the role

The Director of Workforce Planning and Optimization will lead the strategic design and execution of multi‑property workforce plans that align with Solaire’s business priorities. This senior leader partners across executive offices, operations, HR and finance to translate business goals into actionable staffing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the workforce planning and optimization strategy, operating model, governance framework and annual roadmap.
• Partner with SQC, SEC, Operations, HR and Finance to identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities.
• Establish forecasting methods and workload standards using historical demand, business drivers and planned events.
• Lead short‑, medium‑ and long‑range headcount and labor‑cost planning, evaluating staffing models and skill requirements.
• Ensure rosters are compliant, stable and cost‑effective, minimizing overtime, idle time and coverage gaps.
• Implement daily and weekly workforce reviews to compare demand, scheduled hours and actual deployment.
• Own Kronos governance, data integrity, configuration standards and continuous improvement.
• Develop dashboards and reports on productivity, utilization, overtime, attendance and schedule effectiveness.
• Drive labor‑productivity initiatives such as schedule redesign, cross‑property utilization and demand‑based rostering.
• Maintain compliance with Philippine labor laws, collective bargaining agreements and internal controls.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in workforce planning, scheduling and labor analytics, preferably in a multi‑property or hospitality environment.
• Strong partnership skills with senior leaders in operations, HR, finance and IT.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical staffing solutions.
• Deep understanding of compliance requirements and risk management.
