Director, Specialist Sales – Small & Medium Enterprises (Philippines)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive growth of its Small Business portfolio in the Philippines. Based in Manila and reporting to the Vice President, SME Business, Southeast Asia, the Director will shape market strategy, build partnerships and lead a local team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth strategy for Mastercard’s Small Business segment in the Philippines.
• Increase spend, customer acquisition, revenue and market share for small‑business card solutions.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with banks, fintechs, digital wallets and other ecosystem players.
• Lead, coach and develop local team members, providing strategic direction.
• Act as the market expert on small‑business payments trends and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, account management and cross‑functional teams to launch growth initiatives.
• Represent the Philippines market in regional discussions and deliver executive‑level insights.
• Support the creation of differentiated solutions and value propositions for partners.

Required profile

• Proven success leading commercial growth, business development, sales or related functions.
• Strong track record in the payments or digital commerce ecosystem.
• Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
• Deep understanding of small‑business customer needs and market dynamics.
