Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model at scale. The Director of Academic Excellence will translate learning science into actionable strategies, oversee implementation across multiple schools, and champion the approach on a global stage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn learning science into curriculum design, student motivation systems, and application interfaces.
• Oversee academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and observations into ecosystem evaluations to identify obstacles and recommend solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and progress tracking focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education.

Required profile

• Proven track record of articulating and executing a clear academic vision with measurable outcomes.
• Visible, hands‑on leadership experience in applying learning science at scale.
• Ability to diagnose execution breakdowns and build high‑performing teams.
• Experience presenting evidence‑based education models to external audiences, including policymakers.
