Digital & AI Transformation Project Lead – Audit

About the role

The Digital and AI Transformation Project Lead will design, implement and deliver automation and AI‑enabled solutions across audit engagements. This role ensures that digital tools improve audit efficiency and quality while meeting professional standards and AI governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital and AI transformation initiatives within the audit practice.
• Design, develop and implement automation and AI solutions for risk assessment, data analytics and reporting.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and stakeholder expectations for AI and automation projects.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation and analysis to support audit analytics and insights.
• Create dashboards and visualisations to communicate audit findings and trends.
• Support engagement teams in adopting automation and AI tools while ensuring proper validation and professional judgement.
• Ensure compliance with AI governance, data privacy, security and documentation standards.
• Develop training materials and conduct learning sessions to drive digital tool adoption.
• Collaborate with audit, IT and quality teams to align solutions with firm standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in audit analytics, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing projects and implementing technology solutions in a professional services environment is preferred.
