DevOps Engineer – AWS, Docker, CI/CD

About the role

Sharesource is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its cloud infrastructure, security, and containerization pipelines. You will work across the full stack, supporting both backend and frontend teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or scripted solutions.
• Manage container images, registries and orchestration with Docker (or Podman) and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate on Node.js backend services (Express, Koa, NestJS, Bun) and assist with React/Next.js front‑end work when needed.
• Ensure system reliability, performance and security across all environments.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support and maintain clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security controls and monitoring (CloudWatch).
• Proficient with Docker; experience with Kubernetes or willingness to learn.
• Solid understanding of full‑stack concepts and experience delivering 4‑5 applications end‑to‑end.
• Experience implementing IAM strategies and managing private networks or sandbox environments.
• Comfortable working Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑4:00 PM Manila time.
