DevOps Architect – Cloud Automation & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and automation of our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and efficient environments on Azure and, where needed, AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and develop automation/orchestration to support scalable infrastructure.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for PowerShell, YAML, ARM, JSON templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Build and configure new development tools and infrastructure.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs and code.
• Automate and improve development and release processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Review and test code written by others, providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure systems are protected against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify and resolve technical problems, including rapid IaC updates.
• Participate in project planning and management decisions.
• Represent Cloud Delivery in problem‑management meetings and implement operational changes.
• Deploy new services for internal and external cloud delivery projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of technical experience with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Azure (mandatory) and AWS (desirable).
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
• Experience integrating REST APIs such as ServiceNow and Azure Graph APIs.
• Familiarity with service management using ServiceNow (desirable).
• Proficiency with source‑code management using Git‑based repositories.
