Design Officer – Visual & Aesthetic Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Design Officer to lead the visual and functional design of SM Supermalls’ retail environments. The successful candidate will translate brand concepts into tangible design solutions that enhance shopper experience and support the company’s “More to Life” vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement design standards and requirements for mall spaces.
• Produce visual concepts and proposals that align with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure functional and aesthetic integration.
• Review and approve design deliverables to maintain world‑class quality.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure design implementation.
• Maintain design documentation and archives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional license as a civil engineer or architect.
• 1–2 years of experience in engineering or architectural design.

The Design Officer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure designs meet both aesthetic and operational standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
