Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

RingCentral is looking for a Demand Planning Specialist in Manila to own the global forecasting and demand planning of its products. The role covers leading planning activities, analysing and processing data, collaborating with partners, and supporting inventory and production decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adjust demand plans using advanced forecasting techniques and the sales opportunity pipeline, gathering monthly forecast data from partners and updating forecasts regularly.
• Analyse historical sales data, market trends and customer insights to build reliable demand plans that support inventory and production decisions.
• Receive and process monthly shipment data from distributors and stocking locations, analyse consumption by product, channel and region, and adjust supply plans and distributor inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Deal Desk and Sales teams, and support regional sales, marketing and product teams on product availability, launches, transitions and customer engagements.
• Partner with supply planning and supply chain managers so that demand forecasts become clear inventory requirements.
• Improve forecast accuracy, communicate forecast adjustments to stakeholders, and manage inventory levels, safety stock and contingency plans for demand surges.
• Conduct gap analysis, run reports on forecast accuracy and inventory metrics, and lead initiatives to improve demand planning processes, tools and systems.
• Develop the company's S&OP processes and champion data-driven decision-making.

Required profile

• 2-3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or equivalent education and experience.
• Willingness to work night shifts and a hybrid setup (10-11 days in the office per month, Cubao or Ortigas).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management and forecasting techniques.
• Desired: experience in process improvement and with CRM tools such as Salesforce and supply chain planning tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
