Cyber Security Analyst – Security Operations & Risk

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join its Security Operations & Risk team in Pasay City. You will work closely with managed service providers and internal stakeholders to detect, investigate, and remediate cyber security incidents across a range of platforms and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and support containment, remediation and recovery activities.
• Monitor alerts using SIEM and Microsoft security tooling to identify suspicious or anomalous behavior.
• Assist in vulnerability remediation, security audits and the development of runbooks, playbooks and operational procedures.
• Conduct cyber security risk assessments for new technologies, digital platforms and business initiatives.
• Support third‑party and supply‑chain security assessments and drive remediation actions with vendors.
• Communicate risks, impacts and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Help deliver security awareness programs and promote secure behaviours such as phishing awareness and password hygiene.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in cyber security operations, governance, risk, compliance or third‑party security.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management and security control frameworks.
• Experience working with managed service providers or outsourced security teams.
• Proven ability to conduct audit, compliance or assurance activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
