Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

The Customer Quality Engineer acts as the primary liaison between the company and its assigned customers, ensuring that all quality assurance services and final products meet or exceed customer expectations. This role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into actionable internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with and oversee cross‑functional teams to align with customer specific requirements.
• Serve as the Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for assigned customers, managing communication and issue resolution.
• Lead and coordinate customer audits, internal audits, and quality management audits.
• Handle customer complaints using analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Develop and execute 8D reports, Control Plans, and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA).
• Integrate customer specifications into internal specifications and apply statistical and analytical tools.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering (ECE, Chemical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical).
• Minimum 1 year of CQE or related experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with customer‑specific requirements and ability to lead audits.
• Strong analytical abilities for complaint handling and problem‑solving.
• Knowledge of automotive IATF standards, PPAP, APQP is a plus.
• Project management experience and understanding of FPC manufacturing processes are advantageous.
