Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance software components that meet unique business needs. You will work with modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for custom applications.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Java Enterprise Edition applications and related components.
• Participate actively in team discussions, providing technical solutions and becoming a subject‑matter expert.
• Document technical specifications and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Java Enterprise Edition.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on delivering quality software.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with application servers and deployment of enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Knowledge of web services and RESTful API development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise application performance.
