CQC Manager PCCP/QC ACI Transport Inspector

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager and Certified Quality Inspector to lead concrete and transportation infrastructure quality on the BASA Airbase project in Floridablanca, Pampanga. The role focuses on overseeing concrete production, placement, and pavement works to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the project‑specific Quality Control Plan for concrete production and placement.
• Supervise daily concrete testing, inspection and documentation, ensuring mix designs meet ACI, ASTM and DOT specifications.
• Monitor batching operations, calibrate equipment and verify mix proportions.
• Oversee PCCP paving operations, including subgrade preparation, reinforcement placement and curing.
• Conduct and supervise field and laboratory tests such as slump, air content, unit weight, temperature, compressive strength, pavement smoothness and thickness.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, batch tickets, inspection logs and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily reports summarising testing outcomes and non‑conformances.
• Coordinate with government representatives, subcontractors, laboratories and project management teams to meet quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality control for concrete pavements, airfields or roadway projects.
• Certified ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician and Transport Inspector.
• Proven ability to lead QA/QC teams and manage NCRs, submittals and inspection reports.
• Strong knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC Three‑Phase Control System and relevant ASTM, ACI and DOT standards.
