Corporate Legal Counsel I

About the role

As a Corporate Legal Counsel I at 2GO Group, you will safeguard the company’s interests by providing strategic legal support across civil, administrative, labor, and criminal matters. You will work closely with business units and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and enable sound business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and draft a wide range of contracts, including IT agreements, software licenses, MSAs, SOWs, manpower and service agreements, NDAs, leases, and vessel purchase/sale documents.
• Maintain and update corporate contract templates and policies, ensuring alignment with legal risk management.
• Provide legal opinions, research, and advice on contractual obligations and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the company at hearings, quasi‑judicial agencies, and internal meetings requiring legal input.
• Assist business units and finance with interpretation of contractual responsibilities and clarification of legal language.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Minimum of two years experience as a corporate lawyer or legal counsel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge of corporate, contracts, labor, civil, and criminal law.
