Corporate Lawyer

About the role

One Commerce Int’l. Corporation is seeking a skilled Corporate Lawyer to support its procurement, compliance, and corporate legal functions. The role focuses on public bidding, government procurement, and ensuring transparent, lawful processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on procurement, bidding, and contract matters, interpreting laws such as RA 9184 and COA regulations.
• Conduct bid audits, review eligibility and evaluation criteria, and monitor compliance with procurement procedures.
• Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, MOAs, and related agreements, identifying and mitigating legal and financial risks.
• Support various departments in decision‑making, represent the company in negotiations, disputes, and legal proceedings related to procurement.
• Coordinate with government agencies, auditors, and external counsel as needed.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) with an active legal practice.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, public bidding, or corporate law.
• Proven exposure to bid audit, BAC processes, or government procurement.
• Strong knowledge of RA 12009, COA Circulars, and related regulations.
• Excellent drafting, contract review, and negotiation abilities.
