About the role

We are a fast‑growing, digitally native colour‑cosmetics company looking for a seasoned, fully independent Controller to own our accounting function. Reporting directly to US‑based ownership, you will manage the end‑to‑end finance process and supervise remote AR/AP coordinators.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full monthly and quarterly close, delivering accurate financial statements under US GAAP.
• Prepare management reporting and financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting (COGS, landed cost, reconciliations).
• Maintain general ledger integrity and internal controls.
• Supervise an AP/AR Coordinator.
• Build, clean up and improve accounting processes and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with external partners (tax, audit, banking) in the US.
• Report financial results and insights directly to ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Controller with full responsibility for the accounting function.
• Strong, current US GAAP knowledge applied daily.
• Prior experience working for US‑based companies.
• Ability to operate fully independently with no finance lead above.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work US Pacific Standard Time business hours.
