Contract Management Officer

About the role

The Contract Management Officer will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracts within the organization, ensuring that all obligations are captured, monitored, and executed in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in protecting the company’s interests while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise contracts in partnership with Legal, Technical, and Commercial teams, aligning terms with strategy and risk assessments.
• Maintain a structured contract repository, track milestones, deliverables, renewal dates, and manage amendments, addendums, and extensions.
• Identify and communicate contract‑related risks, support mitigation actions, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Serve as liaison among Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and external vendors or industry partners, providing data and insights for negotiations.
• Generate regular reports on contract performance, risk exposure, and compliance, and recommend improvements to tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of contract management experience, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, procurement processes, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
