Construction Estimator – Fence & Gate (Remote, Australian Shift)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator specializing in industrial gates and fencing to join our growing civil construction business. The role is fully remote, working an Australian morning shift, and involves managing the estimating and tendering process from enquiry to contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates or tenders for industrial gates and fencing projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions and conduct material take‑offs.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams, obtaining multiple quotations.
• Price variations, manage scope changes and ensure quotes align with project margins and timelines.
• Support sales activities and respond to client enquiries.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales or Project Estimator within civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of industrial fencing systems, gates, access control and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and technical drawings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in costings.
• Australian construction industry experience, preferably with existing supplier or contractor relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost calculations and take‑offs.
