Construction Coordinator – 3 Year Fixed Term

About the role

OceanaGold is looking for a qualified Construction Coordinator to join the Didipio underground mine in the Philippines on a three‑year fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with the Construction Superintendent to ensure that all capital‑works projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Promote HSE awareness and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Assist the Construction Superintendent in resource planning, task allocation, and liaison with construction teams.
• Participate in schedule and estimate development for capital works and review designs for constructability.
• Monitor site activities, report progress against approved schedules, and flag non‑conformances.
• Identify efficiencies, maintain daily work records, and keep the Superintendent informed of all relevant developments.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping around construction areas.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in construction coordination, preferably in a mining environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE policies and construction project management.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
