Computer Engineering Faculty Member

About the role

The Technological Institute of the Philippines seeks a dedicated Faculty Member to teach Computer Engineering courses. The role involves delivering instruction in line with Outcomes‑Based Education principles, assessing student performance, and contributing to curriculum development and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement institutional policies, the Faculty Manual, and Outcomes‑Based Education guidelines.
• Prepare and follow the Weekly Lesson Activity Plan (WLAP) for assigned subjects, recommending revisions as needed.
• Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring order, cleanliness, and student discipline.
• Evaluate student academic performance and submit official grade reports on schedule.
• Participate in syllabus, WLAP, and instructional material development.
• Engage in research projects and community outreach initiatives.
• Support assessment of student outcomes and program educational objectives.
• Continuously upgrade teaching qualifications through graduate studies and professional seminars.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Program Chair.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
• Master’s Degree or Professional Science Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related field, meeting CHED faculty requirements.
