Company Driver – Transport & Logistics

About the role

The Company Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport employees, goods, and equipment between branches, warehouses, suppliers, and other operational sites. The role ensures timely deliveries and supports the overall logistics flow of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive light vehicles, vans, or delivery trucks to designated locations.
• Ensure timely pick‑up and delivery of supplies, store items, and logistics materials.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (oil, brakes, tire pressure, lights).
• Keep vehicles clean and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
• Assist in loading and unloading items for branch openings, store replenishments, or events.
• Coordinate with the supply‑chain team on routes, priorities, and special transport requirements.
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and maintain a valid professional driver’s license.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vehicle documents (insurance, registration, OR/CR).
• Record daily logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
• Submit delivery receipts, fuel receipts, and trip reports to the admin or operations team.
• Provide transportation support for executives or staff during official activities and company events.

Required profile

• Valid professional driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow schedules.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
