Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Adventus is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimise its AWS‑based server environment. The role ensures high availability, security, cost efficiency and operational reliability while collaborating closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage AWS cloud servers and related services (EC2, AMI, EBS, Route 53, IAM, Backup, Billing).
• Work with developers to provision and launch websites and applications.
• Handle DNS renewals and configurations across providers such as DotPH, GoDaddy, AWS Route 53, Arvixee and NomHandle.
• Renew, install and attach SSL certificates (e.g., Comodo) on Windows and Linux servers.
• Resolve tickets related to AWS services and server access.
• Perform daily backup monitoring and support data restoration.
• Prepare change requests, estimate AWS costs and obtain approvals before provisioning.
• Monitor, manage and optimise AWS billing and overall cloud spend.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security and compliance with organisational standards.
• Provide operational support for production and non‑production environments.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud cost optimisation.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and ticket‑handling skills.
