Clinical Supply Support Associate (Contract)

About the role

The Clinical Supply Support Associate (CSSA) supports Clinical Supply Operations (CSO) in the receipt, packaging, labeling, warehouse, distribution and logistics (P/L/D) of clinical supplies, as well as document management, metrics, order requests and completion. The role spans different global time zones and is offered on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support operational strategies and execute P/L/D operations with quality, regulatory compliance and good customer service, applying project management skills to plan, implement and assess risks.
• Use knowledge of supply chain processes to manage receipt processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reconciliation of incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain systems and documentation for P/L/D operations and liaise with Operational Strategy Leads, CSO Planners and Schedulers and Label Operations.
• Use CSO enterprise systems such as EMD365, CSDS, Clementine and Prisym360 to perform P/L/D tasks and complete them on time.
• Design clinical labels in the label system/software according to requirements and procedures.
• Support CSO compliance and inspection readiness, and ensure all P/L/D activities meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Manage receipts and shipment tracking, prepare reports on P/L/D activities and performance, and keep accurate records.
• Provide occasional coverage for team members on high-priority activities and studies.

Required profile

• BA/BS in supply chain, scientific, computer science or business field with at least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or supply chain management.
• Experience in a GMP / GCP environment.
• Adaptable to non-standard schedules, including periodic attendance at team meetings across time zones and occasional after-hours support around software releases.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of clinical supply packaging, labelling and/or distribution (technical, process, plan or system).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment.
