Chief Operating Officer – Noodle Manufacturing

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer will lead the overall operations and commercial execution of a noodle manufacturing business. This senior role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and regulatory functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing operations, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and on‑time delivery.
• Oversee production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and execute Route‑to‑Market (RTM) strategies to expand nationwide distribution and market penetration.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with modern trade accounts, key supermarkets, and convenience stores.
• Strengthen relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and traditional trade partners to increase product availability.
• Design, evaluate, and optimise trade promotions in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
• Drive in‑store merchandising excellence, planogram execution, and category leadership.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to provide actionable business intelligence.
• Develop logistics and freight strategies to optimise transportation, warehousing, and delivery performance.
• Lead Integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align demand, supply, and financial targets.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or food‑processing environments.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market expansion and route‑to‑market strategies.
• Experience managing key accounts and trade partnerships.
• Analytical mindset with capability to turn market data into strategic decisions.
