Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for AI Consultancy

About the role

Ajaia, a fast‑growing AI consultancy and product studio, is seeking a hands‑on Chief Information Security Officer to lead its information security, IT operations, and compliance programs. The role is pivotal in protecting client and company data across regulated industries while leveraging AI in daily security workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the company’s security strategy.
• Own end‑to‑end compliance programs such as HIPAA and SOC 2 (and related frameworks).
• Secure multi‑cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and enforce security policies, conduct audits, and respond to incidents.
• Manage security vendors and evaluate new tools.
• Integrate AI tools and automation to enhance security operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in security leadership, architecture, and operations.
• Proven track record delivering HIPAA and/or SOC 2 compliance.
• Hands‑on experience in multi‑cloud security (GCP and Azure required).
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
