Physical Safety and Security Manager

About the role

TaskUs, a global provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience, is looking for a Physical Safety and Security Manager in Pasig. The manager implements the company's environmental health and safety strategies by designing and implementing risk reduction policies and practices, and oversees day-to-day support for all company operations and locations within their geographic area of responsibility. The role is focused on keeping every employee safe and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Train staff to build innovative thinking and high-quality technical project management capability, and help the team apply market knowledge, customer insights and technical knowledge to site project execution and development.
• Partner with Operations and senior decision-makers to keep employees safe and secure inside TaskUs premises.
• Speak publicly during crises, inspire and motivate others, and take into account safety measures inside and outside the workplace.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports identifying potential issues and escalate critical issues immediately to management.
• Attend regular leadership meetings and hold calibration sessions with assigned teams to maintain a safe, welfare-focused workplace.

Required profile

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business or a related subject.
• Previous experience in physical security or public service; 2-3 years of experience in public safety, Red Cross training or related safety trainings.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Reliable, trustworthy, excellent interpersonal skills, and good judgment under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to be on the move 24/7 is a plus.

Required skills

• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to express analysis and recommendations.
• Emergency management: setting technical direction, prioritization and resource allocation.
• Good business acumen and knowledge of security and environmental hazards.
• OSHA certification.
