Channel Trade Marketing Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Channel Trade Marketing Associate to drive sales performance and optimise trade strategies across Modern Trade channels. The role will involve analysing retail formats, monitoring brand and SKU performance, and collaborating with business units to align strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse retail sales formats and provide sales performance analysis.
• Establish trade standards and develop customised programmes for Modern Trade channels.
• Evaluate brand and SKU performance, deliver comprehensive category analysis and lead annual channel management.
• Recommend additional products, assess competitors and implement effective market‑penetration strategies.
• Manage trade‑cost budgets for Modern Trade customers, co‑approve activity mechanics and monitor sales realisation and P&L.
• Track programme post‑evaluations, compute sourcing activities and co‑manage event pitches.
• Co‑approve qualified agencies, conduct post‑evaluation of special events and co‑sign sales forecasts.
• Formulate forecasts based on off‑take and monitor sell‑in volume versus forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to Trade Marketing or Brand Marketing.
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial performance from topline to bottom line.
• Proficient in computer applications and business software.
• Highly analytical with strong critical‑thinking abilities.
