Cell Lead – Production Team Leader

About the role

The Cell Lead (Production Lead) is responsible for organizing the work of an assigned production cell to maximise capacity utilisation, ensure high‑quality output and maintain a safe work environment. The role owns safety, quality, delivery and productivity results on a 24/7 basis and drives continuous improvement within the cell.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and production targets are met while complying with all EHS, labour law and corporate guidelines.
• Conduct daily audits of machine status and systems, initiate corrective actions, and reconcile process orders to maintain accurate inventory.
• Promote a "zero incidents" culture for both safety and quality through regular toolbox talks and coaching.
• Collaborate with Process Lead and Maintenance Lead to balance resources and achieve departmental goals.
• Coach line pair leaders, define training needs, and hold team leaders accountable for results.
• Lead improvement plans and act as a role model for high performance and retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Ability to analyse production data, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
