Carrier Sales Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Carrier Sales Solutions Engineer is a technical pre-sales specialist who partners with service providers, direct sellers and their channel partners. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the RingCentral ecosystem, including other UCaaS solutions, legacy voice, data networking and security.

Key responsibilities

• Enable and train partners, and conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations
• Co-sell, assess prospect network readiness and validate solutions through Proof of Concept (POC)
• Support service providers and customers, and work with the RingCentral sales teams
• Help the product team develop and prioritise the product roadmap
• Evaluate new technical solutions and keep up to date on competitive offerings
• Deliver advanced technical presentations to customers and prospects, remotely and in person
• Manage customer feature requests and document them for the product team
• Support service provider internal and customer-facing events

Required profile

• 4+ years as a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS environment, or equivalent relevant experience
• 4+ years in solution sales engineering selling directly to service providers
• Ability to apply solutions and products to business opportunities
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of VoIP, IMS and data networking protocols
• Understanding of service provider provisioning, billing and integration processes
• Understanding of enterprise communications needs and business drivers
• Competitive knowledge of solutions, technology and products
