Campus Minister for College

About the role

The Campus Minister for College will lead spiritual formation initiatives on the Loyola campus, fostering Ignatian spirituality among students and staff. This role combines liturgical duties, media outreach, and community mentorship to support holistic faith development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, promote, and implement spiritual formation programs such as recollections and retreats.
• Recruit, orient, and supervise facilitators and staff for ministry activities.
• Provide individual and group spiritual accompaniment and guidance.
• Serve as Liturgical Minister during institutional masses and weekly liturgies.
• Manage the Office’s social media and radio presence, creating content and hosting programs.
• Moderate and advise campus groups upon request and director approval.
• Prepare semestral and annual reports, budgets, presentations, and other documentation.
• Attend planning and evaluation meetings, collaborating with partner offices and departments.
• Coordinate resource persons, priests, and participants for program delivery.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or postgraduate study) in Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year relevant work experience.
• Background training in Ignatian spirituality, campus ministry, or youth ministry.
• Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Commitment to serving a diverse campus community.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
