Buyer/Planner II

About the role

The Buyer/Planner II is responsible for the overall SIOP of an assigned product class, managing inventory and supply levels to support customer demand. Working in a hybrid model, the role collaborates closely with the BBR Supervisor and Category Manager to ensure timely and cost‑effective fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly shipment and inventory plans, monitor finished goods inventory, and maintain target DSA levels.
• Review and release MRP signals, manage purchase orders, and expedite supplier deliveries to meet customer satisfaction and inventory objectives.
• Conduct inventory excess and obsolete scrubbing, and lead improvement projects to reduce excess stock.
• Analyze supply risk, inventory aging, and past‑due reductions using descriptive analytics.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering or manufacturing.
• 1‑2 years of experience in purchasing or supply planning.
• Strong analytical abilities, team‑player mindset, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle database systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Salesforce.
