Buyer – Indirect Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Buyer will support Linde Philippines’ operational, commercial and administrative needs by leading category strategies, negotiations and supplier management for indirect spend. The role ensures compliance with global procurement standards, quality management systems and the company’s digitalisation agenda while driving cost efficiency and governance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead indirect procurement activities and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend categories.
• Manage supplier performance, negotiations and relationships.
• Drive cost management, value delivery and governance improvements.
• Ensure data, system, process and compliance adherence (QMS, digitalisation).
• Engage with internal stakeholders to align procurement objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba is strongly preferred.
• Background in quality management systems and compliance is advantageous.
