Business Planning Analyst

About the role

The Business Planning & Development Analyst supports the company’s strategic planning, capital budgeting, and business development activities. This role conducts research on the external business environment, monitors industry and economic trends, and provides data‑driven insights to guide management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing and optimizing resource allocation for capital projects.
• Review and endorse project economics; develop economics for key projects and support prioritisation of capital expenditures.
• Coordinate approval processes, track progress and spending on approved projects, and prepare management reports.
• Support short‑, medium‑, and long‑term planning, including gathering macro‑economic, industry and competitive data.
• Monitor industry demand, market trends and macro‑economic indicators, producing analytical reports.
• Provide data, analysis and written inputs for regulatory filings, annual reports and investor relations materials.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer segments and emerging trends.

Required profile

• Preferably holds a CPA license.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial planning.
