Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth for GBF Technical Training Center by building strategic partnerships, acquiring corporate and institutional clients, and expanding the market reach of our technical training programs. You will work closely with communications, academic, and operations teams to align offerings with market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase enrollment and market presence.
• Identify and pursue customized corporate training, workforce development, and industry collaboration opportunities.
• Generate and manage a pipeline of corporate accounts and institutional clients, meeting agreed targets.
• Conduct market research and industry analysis to uncover emerging opportunities and workforce trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, educational institutions, and industry groups.
• Deliver business presentations, negotiate training agreements, and represent TTC at industry events.
• Coordinate with Academic and Operations teams on client requirements, training schedules, and reporting.
• Track activities, prepare business development reports, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, strategic partnerships, account management, or commercial operations.
• Proven track record of achieving growth or partnership targets.
• Experience in education, technical training, workforce development, consulting, HR services, manufacturing, or B2B services is highly preferred.
