Business Development Manager

About the role

PalmPay is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand strategic partnerships within the Philippine fintech ecosystem. You will combine strategic planning with hands‑on execution to drive mobile installment solutions and other fintech products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans to meet revenue targets across payments, e‑wallets and lending verticals.
• Identify, qualify and close new opportunities, building a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Establish and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, fintech partners and enterprise clients.
• Lead end‑to‑end deal cycles, including proposals, negotiations and contract execution.
• Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with BSP regulations, collaborating with compliance and legal teams.
• Work closely with product, marketing and operations teams to align solutions with market needs.
• Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records in CRM systems and report on KPIs, forecasts and pipeline metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close complex, high‑value deals.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino, with strong presentation abilities.
• Fintech experience (payments, lending, digital wallets) is a strong advantage.
