Building Administration Officer

About the role

As a Building Administration Officer you will ensure that the mall’s facilities, utilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and organization. The role supports the mall’s business objectives by providing a well‑kept environment for shoppers and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial, landscaping, minor repairs and pest‑control activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and budget limits.
• Conduct regular inspections of mall facilities and utilities, coordinate repairs, monitor consumption and ensure timely reporting and billing.
• Act as Safety Officer, manage incident response, coordinate with relevant departments and maintain safety documentation.
• Assist tenant construction and renovation projects by reviewing plans, inspecting sites and resolving compliance issues.
• Provide backup support for key custodian and warehouse personnel for emergency item handling.

Required profile

• Graduate of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Building Maintenance Technology, or any business‑related course.
• At least one (1) year of experience in building or property administration or a related field.
• Professional license is an advantage but not mandatory.
