Branch Ambassador – Digital Banking Advocate

About the role

The Branch Ambassador will champion digital banking adoption at the Cagayan de Oro – Lapasan branch, ensuring customers use self‑service machines and online channels while maintaining smooth branch operations. The role combines customer service excellence, compliance oversight, and proactive monitoring of digital performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the UBOnline App, Digital Transaction Portal and other digital channels during customer interactions and events.
• Monitor branch dashboards for digital conversion rates, cross‑selling opportunities and system issues, reporting promptly for resolution.
• Handle account opening, cash management, regulatory compliance and complaint resolution to achieve zero operational loss.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized branch environment and ensure staff are well‑trained and motivated.
• Act as Consumer Assistance Officer, receiving, investigating and responding to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Support digital projects and contribute user stories for platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience in branch operations or retail banking with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to monitor and act on performance dashboards and digital conversion metrics.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Required skills

• Basic troubleshooting of digital tools such as TV displays, iPads and sign pads.
• Proficiency in using digital banking platforms (UBOnline App, Digital Transaction Portal).
