BIM Technician – Healthcare & Hospital Projects

About the role

We are seeking a BIM Technician to join our team on healthcare and hospital projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, coordinating across multiple disciplines, and ensuring that BIM deliverables meet project standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and maintain version control for all models.
• Create detailed 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks based on design inputs.
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, fire protection and P&D disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, resolve conflicts and update models after site feedback.
• Participate in coordination meetings, providing BIM insights and ensuring adherence to BEP standards.
• Develop and maintain a BIM library of parametric families.
• Produce construction documentation, material schedules, shop drawings, fabrication drawings and as‑built models.
• Assist design teams with analysis models, 3D visualisations and 4D construction sequencing.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs for BoQs directly from the 3D models.
• Set up models in BIM 360 and manage Level of Detail (LOD) requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, COBie and project‑specific BIM standards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards for healthcare facilities.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects and coordinating with various engineering disciplines.
• Commitment to health and safety practices and ability to follow company safety procedures.
• Ability to support junior team members and conduct quality checks.
