Bank Teller – Customer Sales & Service Associate

About the role

The Customer Sales and Service Associate (CSSA) works at branch locations in Tarlac and surrounding cities, handling both financial and non‑financial transactions for bank customers. The role combines cash handling, account services, and proactive promotion of bank products.

Key responsibilities

• Process over‑the‑counter transactions such as cash deposits, withdrawals, check encashments, bill payments and fund transfers.
• Handle auxiliary services including foreign exchange, manager’s checks, demand drafts, remittances, debit‑card and check‑book requests, and bank certifications.
• Maintain cash limits, perform end‑of‑day balancing, and safeguard accountable forms.
• Open new accounts, conduct KYC verification, and ensure all documentation is complete and properly filed.
• Update customer contact information, process amendments to bank records, and secure approvals for transactions exceeding authority limits.
• Perform risk‑control duties such as end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, custodial functions, and adherence to security and health protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently while following branch policies and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to learn and cross‑sell bank products.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic banking transactions and procedures.
• Familiarity with KYC and enhanced due‑diligence processes.
• Proficiency in using branch banking software for transaction entry and document scanning.
