Backend Developer (Python/Django)

About the role

Inspekt AI is seeking a Backend Developer proficient in Python and Django to enhance its AI‑driven SaaS platform for property inspections. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services that support the company’s global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality software design and architecture by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.
• Build and maintain tools, applications, and APIs by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks and workflows using appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Document development phases and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies to keep the platform modern and competitive.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong track record in Python and Django.
• Proficiency with Django Rest Framework and class‑based views.
• Familiarity with Django 4.2 or later versions.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
