Back End Software Engineer

About the role

The Back End Software Engineer will own server‑side web application logic and ensure seamless integration with front‑end and mobile teams. You will design, build, and maintain web services and APIs that power user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side logic for web applications.
• Design, implement, and document REST or SOAP APIs used by front‑end and mobile developers.
• Analyze existing codebases and industry trends to improve processes and efficiency.
• Solve technical problems and enhance overall user experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in API development or integration.
• Strong knowledge of PHP with Laravel framework or Java with Spring framework.
• Preferable experience with NodeJS using the Adonis framework.
• Proven expertise in OOP, security, refactoring, application architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with AWS services and ability to design database structures.
