Back-End Developer – Cebu

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a skilled Back-End Developer to join its Cebu team. You will design, build, and maintain robust server‑side applications and APIs that power our client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Translate business requirements into efficient server‑side logic and database structures.
• Integrate third‑party services, internal systems, and cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing services for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Git and standard development workflows.
