AWS Integration Consultant / Architect

About the role

The AWS Integration Consultant / Architect designs, delivers, and governs enterprise‑grade integration solutions on Amazon Web Services. You will enable organisations to connect cloud‑native, hybrid, and SaaS systems using secure, scalable, and resilient integration patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations using AWS services such as Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SNS/SQS, and AWS Step Functions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into API‑based, event‑driven, and message‑based integration designs.
• Define integration architecture, reusable components, and reference patterns while ensuring alignment with security, networking, IAM, and governance standards.
• Design error handling, retries, dead‑letter queues, and monitoring strategies; implement logging, tracing, and alerting with AWS monitoring tools.
• Support testing, deployment, cut‑over, and post‑go‑live stabilisation; troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business, application, data, and cloud platform teams; advise stakeholders on AWS integration approaches and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• 10–14+ years of overall IT experience with 7–10+ years of AWS integration and solution architecture experience (Architect level) or 6–8 years overall IT with 4–6 years hands‑on AWS integration experience (Consultant level).
• Proven ability to define enterprise integration strategies, create reusable components, and provide architectural guidance.
• Strong systems‑thinking, delivery governance, and stakeholder management capabilities.
