AVP Treasury & Business Finance – Financial Control & Analysis

About the role

Deutsche Bank is seeking an Assistant Vice‑President to join its Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) team in Manila. The role focuses on financial control, month‑end closing, and analysis of treasury activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank’s financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and close month‑end General Ledger for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts related to Fixed Income and Currencies within SLA.
• Perform foreign‑exchange position reconciliations, investigate breaks and escalate aged issues.
• Investigate and clear exceptions, collaborating with Risk, Operations and Transaction Accounting to maintain clean MAFA reconciliations.
• Improve and standardise processes, linking upstream and downstream activities for designated products/assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent; professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) or a Master’s degree are a plus.
• Relevant accounting or finance experience in banking, investment or financial services.
• Understanding of a broad range of financial products and markets, including derivatives.
• Ability to meet deadlines accurately and present results clearly.
