Audit Manager

About the role

The Audit Manager will join Advanced Energy's Audit Services Team as an individual contributor, leading SOX and operational audits for a global semiconductor and industrial technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial and operational audits according to the annual internal audit program.
• Review and discuss audit findings with management and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess processes, controls, and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, COSO, GAAP, and Sarbanes‑Oxley.
• Report audit results and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews of identified deficiencies and investigate irregularities, fraud, or embezzlement as needed.
• Support the VP of Internal Audit and audit services leadership in meeting departmental goals.
• Ensure audit work adheres to Institute of Internal Auditors standards and maintains high quality and risk‑management standards.
• Travel internationally when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA preferred.
• Experience with large multinational companies and supply‑chain or inventory‑management processes is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project‑management, and budgeting abilities.
