Associate Electrical Design Engineer II

About the role

Fluor is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer II to support project teams in the Philippines. The role applies fundamental engineering principles to deliver quality electrical designs and contribute to Fluor’s competitiveness in the global marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and verify routine electrical calculations and specify simple equipment.
• Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor material estimates, quantities and assist in procurement activities.
• Analyze design challenges and provide independent recommendations aligned with project objectives.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or global equivalent) with at least 2 years of electrical design experience.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) status achieved.
• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards and commercial availability of materials.
• Practical field experience and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Intermediate proficiency with standard office software (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation).

• Experience with Revit.
• Experience with S3D.
• Experience with E3D.
• Experience with CadWorx.
