Electrical Design Engineer IV

About the role

Fluor is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer IV to join its Philippines team. The role involves leading engineering activities, delivering cost‑effective solutions, and ensuring technical excellence across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or act as Area Lead on assigned projects, handling moderately complex engineering assignments.
• Develop and review specifications, design criteria, and cost‑competitive execution techniques.
• Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting processes.
• Perform calculations, specify equipment, and solve engineering problems.
• Review vendor documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide independent recommendations on technical solutions.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year engineering degree (or global equivalent).
• Approximately 20 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional certification or registration where required.
• Strong communication skills with management, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Ability to apply local, state/province, and national statutes and guidelines.
