Associate Counsel – Commercial, Disputes or Fintech

About the role

We are seeking qualified lawyers to join the legal team of a fast‑growing e‑commerce marketplace in the Philippines. Depending on your experience and interests, you will be placed in one of three focus areas: commercial contracts, disputes & compliance, or fintech corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on vendor, service, partnership, procurement, marketing and technology contracts.
• Handle labour and employment disputes, consumer complaints and regulatory compliance matters, representing the company before DOLE, NLRC and other tribunals.
• Provide legal guidance on digital payments, fintech, banking, financial services and data‑privacy regulations, supporting new product launches.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the Philippines (Called to the Bar).
• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm or in‑house legal team.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
