About the role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Coach who will also serve as Head Coach for the Junior Varsity (JV) girls soccer team. This position supports the varsity program while leading the JV squad in practice, competition, and player development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the varsity head coach in planning and delivering daily practice sessions.
- Lead the JV girls soccer team, organizing practices, drills, and game strategies.
- Coordinate game schedules, travel logistics, and equipment management.
- Monitor athlete progress, provide feedback, and foster a positive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safety standards, and soccer governing rules.
Required profile
- Prior experience coaching youth or high‑school soccer, preferably with girls teams.
- Strong knowledge of soccer rules, tactics, and player development principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and student‑athletes.
- Commitment to fostering academic and athletic excellence.
